Refunds
How a refund works
Pre-launch note: Draft wording. This page has not yet been approved for publication.
The window
Each item you bought can be refunded in full within 30 days of the day that item was paid for.
The First 30 Days program is a separate charge made on its own day, so it has its own 30 days.
What we ask you for
Nothing. No explanation, no proof, no download or printing history, and no test of whether you used it.
You may be shown a list of reasons. “Prefer not to say” is one of them, and none of them changes the outcome.
One item or all of them
You choose which of the items you bought to refund. Refunding one leaves the others alone.
How to ask
From your order page, which is the second link in your purchase email. At the bottom of it, in plain text: “Something wrong with your order?”
From there: say what is happening; choose the item or items; make the request; open the confirmation link we email you; confirm.
Two of the four answers on the first screen fix the problem instead of continuing — a lost link is sent again, and a file that will not open has a browser version that needs no PDF reader. Both keep a full-weight way onward if a refund is still what you want.
That is four steps on this site and one message in your inbox. Nothing is refunded until you open the emailed link and confirm it. That step is what stops somebody who has your kit link from taking your money back.
Where the money goes
Back to the card you paid with. Your bank decides when it appears there; we do not control that and cannot see it.
What happens to your files
Access to a refunded item ends once your payment provider confirms the money has gone back — not when you ask. Anything else you bought keeps working.
Problems that are not refund requests
Charged twice, charged without your permission, paid and never delivered, or a file that cannot be opened at all — those are payment or delivery problems. They are handled as such, and the 30 days does not limit them.
If you have opened a dispute with your bank
Once a dispute is open with your bank, that process decides the outcome and we do not also refund the charge, because that would return the money to you twice.
